At the outset of the Vietnam War, five award-winning journalists discover that the truth on the ground sharply diverged from the official White House story. As they struggle to get the truth out, the government targets them as the enemy. Each goes on to win a Pulitzer Prize. Their controversial and groundbreaking reporting ushered in a new era of journalism that sought to hold the government accountable.
